Holiday Wreath Giveaway

Let’s turn-up the volume of holiday cheer with the help of P. Allen Smith. With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, our attention turns from the garden to the holidays. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to let my hair down and throw myself into some celebration –softened by a dash of sitting thoughtfully with gratitude.

Much of the holiday decoration in my neighborhood begins in earnest at the end of this month. As you might imagine, I like to decorate with natural items.  Aroma cast by fresh greens coupled with the homey smell of baking bread transport me into the season and connect me with holidays of the past.

I’m happy to offer you a chance for a beautiful, fresh handmade wreath this holiday from Berry Family of Nurseries and P. Allen Smith. The wreath is from Allen’s Holliday Collection with Berry that offers six distinctive styles to choose from and each style includes a centerpiece and mantelpiece as well as wreaths. The wreath I’ve chosen to offer you is part of the Original Rustic Collection and crafted from sustainably harvested Noble Fir boughs, pine cones, juniper berries and finished with elegant rustic-inspired ribbons.

You may have know I’ve had the great pleasure to visit Allen’s beautiful home in Arkansas with twenty other garden bloggers. I was also pleased to catch up with Allen and his lovely staff at the Independent Garden Show in Chicago.  Allen and his team’s graciousness and style in all aspects of life inspire me daily.  I hold much gratitude for our continued connection and I am grateful to them for this opportunity to offer you a wreath from his connection. I wrote about how flattering meeting him was in P. Allen and Punk Rock.

To enter the giveaway, simply like P. Allen Smith’s Facebook page or follow him on twitter and leave a comment here. I’ll ask my son to randomly pick a winner and announce it next Wednesday, November 21rst, 2012.  Thanks again to Berry Family of Nurseries and P. Allen Smith.  Good luck and good – loud- cheer!

MY gardening tip from my visit at Moss Mountain? Turn off your control freak.  Grin.

  11. Gorgeous wreath! I love fresh greenery in my home during the holidays. Especially, since we have a fake tree. Boo hiss! A wreath is much better than spraying “Eau Du Pine” around the house.
