Worms are natural, right? Well… native worms are natural to your area. Non-native worms are not. Worms that don’t belong in your backyard could reasonably upset the balance of soil critters – perhaps to the extent of becoming invasive and creating a whole new set of problems.

Springtime in Paris… via Philadelphia

For this flower-starved artist, the show offered soul deep soothing. Perhaps it’s because the winter has seemed longer and more cruel than most here in Central PA; but this year, the simple act of viewing tulips bursting toward convention center lights and experiencing the most cutting edge floral design – was all I needed to feel nourished.
