Shaking up Blogger Bloom Day

Had an urge to act out today.  Wanted to shake-up something and descended upon the Garden Blogger Bloom Day enterprise…  well…. only because I had a rotten day and a limited imagination.   So, you, poor viewers, now have to look at these weird photos just because I wanted to punch something and decided to grab a camera and shake flowers instead.

Have things to be happy about.  I got most of my to do list executed today.  But I still felt a bit rambunctious as dinner time neared.  So, as gently as I could,  embraced a blooming lovely in my garden and shock her , gently, as I placed my camera on a slow camera speed.  Then chose a few images,  I thought you might find remotely interesting.

Shake things up.  It helps disrupt any ruts in our soil.  And yes, I am ambidextrous. Thanks for looking.

  3. These photos are beautiful – really artistic. I’d love to see them enlarged and on the wall. I think you are on to something, despite the controversy of Shaken Flower Syndrome.

  5. I know how you feel Laura. I sometimes get very discouraged trying to photograph everything on a tripod; sometimes can’t even find a place to put my feet. Your work is a little like the old trick of kicking the tripod for effect!
Mostly I photograph everything to try to hold onto the magic of the flowers.
