Almost Here; Lancaster Garden Tour!

Hanselman Landscape at 390 South Erisman Road is opening up their Specialty Nursery for all garden tour attendees.  Many unique and specimen quality plants are available – things you won’t find anywhere else.  After you stroll through the nursery paths  and spot all the heart-stopping Japanese Maples (among other great must-haves!),  be sure to cool off with an italian ice from Rita’s, before heading to the next stop!

So you couldn’t help but purchase that beautiful Japanese Maple…  Still you MUST travel a short while to Lititz – 115 Millwyck Road, by Twin Oaks Landscaping, Inc.  This large property has so many great garden areas you will definitely find an idea to use in your own backyard.  We were greeted by three wonderful dogs, who were more than happy to share the gardens with us!  The pond like swimming pool – all I can say is “I want one”!

Leaving the pool area, a difficult slope has been turned into a great water garden and observation deck. Lush woodland planting and vegetable garden make this a very appealing property.
