Moved to Mischief by Foliage

I’m feeling kinda rebellious. Back story? I posted a slide show last week and it was flagged on youtube by a big record label. As an artist, I know how it feels to have stuff used without your permission. But once I entered into the online culture, I accepted the part of the culture that includes giving stuff away for free.
In the online culture as it is, sharing is the norm. Blogging, posting videos and youtube, putting photos on flickr, there is an understanding that people are using and sharing your work. Best practice in this culture is to credit the source of what you’re sharing. I was told that it was ok to use music with videos and slideshows if you credit the artist. I’ve done that.
In the future, I want to use friend’s music or find a source of interesting music that has been cleared for creative use. Any guidance here would be appreciated.
In the meantime, surrounded by all the white of snow, perhaps take a minute and take a Valentines day romp with some great, colorful foliage. http://budurl.com/foliage Half the images are from Longwood Gardens. Half are from PRG central. All the images are mine. Feel free to use or share them.
