Roberta Bogash joins PRG and we expect her to be Mosh Pit Diva. She wants us all to know how to mosh the pit. This fits on many levels since her current focus is storm water management. Moshing is a perfect fit for her personality, but understates her credentials.
She’s got a ton of landscape street cred. As a commercial contractor, Roberta has designed and supervised the installation of both residental and commercial landscapes for the past eight years. Other recent projects include designing Native Pollinator Gardens for the Dickinson College Farm and the Landisville Research Farm.
In the pit, she can stand on her own with all sorts of critters. And waves. And downpours. BUT she is the first to catch some one, or some species, that is falling. She’s doing everything she can to help people and nature survive in this slamming world. While documenting it with fine art photography.
Roberta’s melding of art and horticulture started while watching her mom garden as a child. She studied photography at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC and interned as a darkroom technician for GreenPeace USA. Maryland Master Gardener programs were her horticultural baby steps. Her work has progressed to include multiple programs with Penn State University and Penn State Extension including a horticulture therapy program at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home and green roof installation at the Landisville Research Farm. Roberta resides in Newville, PA with her husband Steve and their son Joe.
Thanks for joining us! We will post her first feature later today.
